My family have been here twice. First time, was wonderful. Fast and friendly service. The food was sooo fresh and very reasonably quick. The salmon coller bone dish was perfect both times we've had it. The chiefs know what they are doing. The second time we came was a celebration dinner for my daughter. We brought our family friends with us and all they had to say it was delicious! The proportions are amazing and the price is well worth what you're getting. Keep up the great work! We will be back!

Very fresh and more like a sushi bar than a teriyaki joint. Legit Sushi Chef and little sushi bar. Decent prices and authentic Japanese feeling. I did takeout chicken teriyaki and Cali roll. Teriyaki good portion and cali roll seemed authentic definitely fresh made. Next time will sit at the Sushi bar and eat in. Salad was a bit disappointing (just lettuce with vinegar based dressing) good miso tho.

TJ and her staff are still doing amazing things. Props to the Sushi chef. He's amazing. The sushi is fresh and so good. I'm addicted to the Bulgogi these days. Lunch specials are great! Good music, good food!

So glad Oaks Sushi is here. I had the Chirashi and a salmon skin hand roll. The fish was super fresh and tasty. They give a big portion of fish with the chirashi. I've been to restaurants where they skimped on the fish but Oaks Sushi does not cheat you on the portion. The salmon skin roll also was a big portion. We came for dinner and it was busy but the service was outstanding. Food came relatively quickly. Our server was friendly but not too talkative. Overall, it was a great experience. I'll be back.

Came here on 9/17/2024 for dinner. Interior is clean and nice. Relaxing music and two big TV screens. Dinner today was slow on a Tuesday dinner so we had basically the whole store to ourselves. BUT that does not mean the food was not good. On the contrary, it was DELICIOUS. We ordered the plate w/ chicken and beef teriyaki. The meat was not dry at all and the sauce was amazing. Shrimp tempura; the batter was not too thick and it was very crispy. I wished the shrimps were bigger though. According to my friend who had been there multiple times already, the owner, who is super friendly, made all the sauces. I got the DRAGON roll. Let me tell you, it was one of the best rolls I had ever had. There were a lot of sauces and unagi on top and the fried shrimp in the middle stayed crisp, which made a huge difference to the texture of the roll. Just perfect. Overall, the sushi roll was unexpectedly delicious. And I have to say, this place was such a great find by my friend. Although I live in San Jose, I will 100% be coming back for more.

I tried this place for the first time for lunch today and it exceeded my expectations. The service was great, I highly recommend the jalapeno bombs, sesame chicken, and lucky roll. I'll definitely be back. Lots of tables and it was clean inside too.

Good Entrées from the Kitchen Menu [Roseville CA] We stopped by on a Sunday evening and tried Oaks Sushi & Bowl for the first time. I have been wanting to dine here for sometime but we always end up elsewhere. When we walked in we were told we could seat ourselves. They have many good choices from their menu that I'd like to try but I went with their new entrée -- Bulgogi! My Korean bulgogi was served on a grill plate served sizzling hot. The flavor was incredibly delicious with a savory, salty-sweet, garlicky flavor that's also got smoky char from the barbecue. The caramelized edges are so yummy! It came with vegetables and a bowl of steamed white rice. He ordered a Combo plate w/ 2 meat choices -- Beef Teriyaki and Chicken Teriyaki. The meal also came with a bowl of piping hot miso soup, rice, salad, 2-pcs gyoza, and tempura... it was a good deal for $21.99. Convenient location. We'll be back! Review #3425

We got takeout on a Sunday evening. Placing the order over the phone was easy enough & the lady who took the order was pleasant. Pickup was ready in 15-20 minutes. The restaurant had a nice ambiance with decor. We ordered Salmon Nigiri, Dragon Roll, Godzilla Roll, Tuna Lover Roll, Spicy Day Roll, and miso soup. We enjoyed our food. We especially noticed how the deep fried shrimp in our rolls still had a nice crunchy texture. The rice to fish ratio of the nigiri was great. A few dings were that the Tuna Lover Roll doesn't list tobiko as an ingredient on the menu, but it comes on top. Also, the Godzilla Roll said it has "D.F. onion" which we thought meant crunchy deep fried strings. However, it was actually diced onion cooked to a softened caramelized sweetness. The spicy tuna component could have been spicier for our personal taste. It was all pretty good. We would try this place again. Not sure that we found anything super crave-worthy & memorable yet though.

Cute little spot that I've been wanting to try for awhile now. It's nice to see more establishments in west Roseville. So I've been looking for a go-to sushi spot for awhile now that serves good fresh sushi (we go to mikuni often but it is pricey for a simple regular sushi fix). Well, I've finally found it! This place is fresh, delicious, and down the street from me. We got the Benjamin roll and the spicy edamame and they are sooo good. Service was great and friendly. Never felt rushed or ignored. Can't wait to be back!
